Grain- or Grass-finished Beef

The difference between finishing cattle on grain or grass is ultimately taste, and most consumers prefer the taste of beef from grain-finished cattle. All beef is an excellent source of zinc, iron and protein, plus many B vitamins.

All Cattle are Grass Fed

Cattle spend the majority of their lives in pastures eating grass. It is only for 4-6 months that ranchers and nutritionists slowly introduce grains, like corn, wheat and milo. Thanks to their 4-compartment stomachs, earning them the name of ruminants, cattle are able to digest grains safely, giving them the energy to grow.
